We are Propeller – a digital agency delivering exceptional websites and digital campaigns for a broad array of clients with a focus on the hospitality, luxury, lifestyle and eCommerce sectors.

We’re a group of friendly, like-minded people who care about our clients, our work and each other, and we’re looking for a Head of Marketing to own brand Propeller, and tell compelling stories about who we are and what we do, ultimately generating new client wins for Propeller.

We have ambitious plans for the next stage in the development of the agency, and need someone experienced, talented and driven to elevate us to the next level.

Job description About the role

  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy that ensures Propeller is firmly on the map.
  • You will identify our target audiences, and be on top of industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Working with the Leadership Team you will define marketing goals, KPIs, and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
  • You will oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and paid advertising.
  • You will manage Propeller’s brand, ensuring brand consistency across all marketing materials, both internally and externally.
  • You will identify opportunities to enhance brand awareness and reputation through strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • You will line manage the marketing team, setting objectives, providing guidance, training and support as required. You’ll also manage the relationship with any 3rd parties involved in marketing at Propeller.
  • You will support the Client Acquisition and Client Strategy teams in providing appropriate collateral and content to help them convert prospective clients.
  • You will own the Propeller website, ensuring content and structure is relevant, up-to-date, optimised and performant.
  • You will work closely with the Managing Director and Leadership Team to redefine and improve the marketing strategy and plan over time, ensuring ROI and growth is achieved.

  • We will expect you to work in a hybrid model, working from our London office 3 days a week
  • Ability to set and deliver agency-wide marketing strategy

The person We're looking for someone who is

  • Ambitious for themselves and Propeller and will drive our marketing to the next level
  • Got a solid track record in agency marketing
  • Experienced in delivering compelling marketing strategies, that directly relate to new business wins
  • Got the ability to manage budget and optimise spend
  • Got experience in putting together creds and pitch decks
  • Willing to speak up and put their opinion across

The person It would be beneficial if you had

  • Previous experience in a digital agency
  • A good understanding of UX / UI design
  • A good understanding of web development technology
