Technical Project Manager

An excellent opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to secure a position within our large design and development office in Rugby. You will be involved in the complete lifecycle of projects. The position requires strong team working skills, an ability to meet deadlines, good problem solving ability and a great eye for detail.

You will play a key role in ensuring multiple projects are delivered efficiently and within the client brief. The role may involve some elements of client handling, and you will work closely with the Account Manager throughout the planning, production, and launch process. You will also play a key role as the liaison between the Rugby and London team for the support of client projects.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Organised and able to manage multiple projects at once dealing with different teams, internal and external
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering end to end digital, web and mobile app projects
  • Solid understanding of the principles of how CMS, CRM, web apps work and experienced in a variety of platforms and technologies such as WordPress, Drupal, Magento and Shopify
  • Able to communicate effectively with technical teams and external stakeholders / build strong internal relations
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to agree project objectives and ensure that all the aims of the project are met
  • Fluent in web terminology
  • Problem solving

 

BENEFICIAL SKILLS:

  • Experience using project management tools such as JIRA and Basecamp
  • Prior digital agency experience
  • Experience with Google Adwords and Analytics
  • Understanding of PM methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
  • Strong digital project life cycle knowledge and a broad knowledge of development, test, infrastructure and support
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
