In case you haven’t heard—Propeller has being nominated for ‘Best Agency to Work for’ at the UK Company Culture Awards—a proud moment and a true testament to the fantastic ethos we have built both inside the office, and beyond.

Our mission starts with our people

As a digital agency, our mission is to propel our clients’ digital presence beyond expectations—whether through innovative web development, smart performance strategies, or everything in between.

Our ability to deliver on that mission starts with one thing: our people. Our teams work side by side to cultivate a safe environment where collaboration, learning, and having a genuine great time go hand in hand.

Who we are

Over the last 22 years, Propeller has built a reputation as a best-in-class agency that delivers exceptional services for clients, and that’s all down to our people.

We’re a 46-strong team who speak over 12 languages, with many team members staying loyal to Propeller for over a decade. Our staff retention is one of the clearest signs that we’re on the right track.

A culture that puts people first

From day one, made it a priority to place our team at heart of everything we do. That means listening, adapting, and building a culture around what our people value most.

One example? Every team member receives a annual £500  wellbeing budget—on top of their salary and bonus—to spend however they choose. From gym memberships and cookery courses to new fitness gear or spa retreats, it’s entirely up to them.

As we grow, we’re committed to keeping our close-knit feel and maintaining the strong relationships we have across our teams. Regular company-wide brainstorming sessions give everyone a chance to share what they’ve been working on and provide input on best-practice ideas. This reinforces the vital role each team member plays in contributing to Propeller’s success.

Quarterly all-hands meetings are followed by social events to bring everyone together—and give our remote team the chance to catch up in person, away from the screen.

Beyond the office: BBQs, brainstorms, and the beach

Culture isn’t just what happens from 9 to 5. Every year, the whole team heads to Aberdyfi, Wales for three days of countryside fun—complete with barbecues, fancy dress and swims in the sea.

Back at our London studio, we’ve built a space with collaboration in mind. With open-plan areas, quiet meeting rooms, and a fully stocked bar, it’s a place where ideas flow and people genuinely enjoy spending time—whether it’s welcoming clients for workshops and strategy sessions or just winding down with a drink after work.

Clients are even welcome to use the space as a desk-away-from-home when they’re nearby. And for the team? The bar’s always open after hours—and they regularly stay past working hours to enjoy each other’s company over drinks.
