Propeller is proud to have built a relationship with the teams at British pub chain, Young’s & Co, that’s lasted for over 12 years. We’ve worked on 225 websites across their central group and local branches. The Propeller team has been the PPC agency partner of choice to promote all Young’s seasonal campaigns including major sporting events and annual public holidays. Having been established in 1831, we’re proud to be the gatekeepers of this heritage brand’s digital presence.
Our approach
- We launched an SEO campaign (keyword research, content creation & reporting) during key seasonal period (summer = pub gardens campaign & euros tournament)
- We worked on Thematic work (SEO/ PPC) around Christmas and sporting events, (Euros, Six Nations, World Cup) for both central and local marketing.
- We developed a bespoke API solution for their Design My Night booking system – totally unique to Young’s and industry leading.
- We drove bookings up from the bad Christmas ’21 (due to COVID) with well planned and executed PPC campaign for Rugby Six Nations.
Results
- Ranking on page 1, position 1 in Google search for primary keyword ‘Euros pubs’ during Euros competition 2021
- Achieved record breaking of number website sessions and bookings throughout Euros months
- Resulted in bookings being up 102.5% on Feb 2020 and 354% on March 2020
