The prestigious Young’s offer a range of iconic pubs and ‘pubs with rooms’ that serve craft beer, great cocktails and seasonal food across London and South East England. Founded in 1831, they have been running some of the best British pubs for nearly 200 years.

Christmas is a crucial time for the hospitality industry, with vendors seeing a huge surge in bookings over the festive period. Over last year’s festive season, Propeller collaborated with Young’s to launch an impactful Christmas bookings campaign spanning across a range of channels. Customers were encouraged to make online festive booking enquiries at their favourite spot through both the central and local pub websites.

Our approach

We created impactful campaign landing pages that helped Young’s promote their stunning spaces while increasing their Christmas bookings. Targeted ads generated increased engagement from both new and returning customers choosing where to visit over the festive period.


  • We launched pay-per-click search ads on Google, targeting specific audiences based on their locations.


  • We sent InMails to target audiences, encouraging them to consider Young’s cosy pubs for their Christmas parties.
  • We offered a ‘Christmas Concierge Service’ through lead generation form ads.
  • We created content-based and sponsored ads to appear on the target audiences’ LinkedIn newsfeeds.


  • We provided a Looker Studio dashboard to track performance across all channels in real-time, sharing weekly data updates, bi-weekly insights and a final wrap-up.

The Christmas campaign generated hundreds of booking enquiries in just over four months.

The campaign activity encouraged people to book Young’s pubs for their Christmas party & generated a lead completion success rate 2.5x higher than average.
