With over 300 years of innovation, creativity and masterblending expertise, it’s no doubt Twinings are the experts of their craft. From their beginnings in Gloucestershire to their international expansion, they have consistently been trailblazers in all areas of tea.

Twinings were pivoting from the traditional, heritage cuppa brand established in 1787 to a modern, wellbeing-focused tea brand. To reflect their new direction, they came to Propeller for a bespoke Shopify Plus solution which would make the brand shine in a sleek digital space while staying true to their heritage.

Twinings wanted to maintain the increased levels of direct customers they saw during the pandemic. An in-depth discovery phase with Twinings and Associated British Foods helped our team understand the brand’s objectives and the impact on the website design.

We built a bespoke theme on Shopify Plus with a sleek, modern design which stayed true to the brand’s heritage and protected the 200-year old logo.

We seamlessly migrated from Kentico to Shopify Plus with over 700 products, newly templated blogs, and hundreds of recipes.

We carefully reorganised the navigation menus and categories to align with customers’ needs. This established a clear and user-friendly digital shopfront for each product with informative yet digestible product information.

Our website build also lead to creating a visually stunning, UX-considered bespoke trade store for B2B wholesale clients, enabling their B2B clients to order in bulk with ease.
