Burns Night, how are you celebrating?

Burns Night, how are you celebrating?

Next Thursday 25th January is Burns Night, the night to commemorate Robert Burns, Scotland’s most famous poet and his birthday!

Starting in 1801 when it was held by his friends to remember him, the night traditionally entails a Burns Supper of Scotch broth, haggis, neeps and tatties and a wee dram of whisky.

We’ve rounded up a few of our favourite places to spend Burns Night this year…

Young’s

This year, Young’s pubs have truly got into the celebratory spirit and are offering a free dram of Glenfiddich Whisky when you use their app On Tap between Thursday 25th January and Sunday 28th January.

Download the app, add your favourite pubs and check your treats!

Certain pubs are also hosting a Burns Night Feast – book a seat at your favourite pub here.

Rockliffe Hall

Head on over to the majestic Rockliffe Hall & Spa and enjoy a delectable three course traditional highland meal at The Brasserie. With courses including Scottish smoked salmon, haggis or scotch beef and iced cranachan parfait, the meal is finished off with a Whisky tasting paired with cheeses.

Immerse yourself in the Scottish festivities and don’t forget your tartan!
