The Opportunity
Mixologists Garden, a premium fruit garnish brand approached us to revamp their Instagram presence. They wanted a bold new direction that would resonate with bartenders, bar managers, and hospitality professionals, while also maintaining relevance with home mixologists.


The Discovery
We began with an in-depth discovery phase, establishing the foundations for a killer social strategy. This included everything from a strategic audit to competitor benchmarking to audience analysis, all with the aim to better understand the behaviour and preferences of the target audience.
And of course, as we are a results driven agency, we set out clear KPI’s from the get go. This included metrics like follower growth, reach, impressions, engagement rate, and story interactions, all tracked via new reporting dashboards.


The Solution
We delivered a full revamp of the Instagram channel, focusing on both aesthetic and performance-driven content.
The first step was a full Instagram overhaul. We rewrote the bio, updated the Story highlights, and archived old content that didn’t fit the new direction. We then got to work on content production, leading several shoots to capture a library of high-quality images and reels for launch.
One standout campaign was a new content series called “Making Mixology More Sustainable” where we recreated signature cocktails from iconic venues using more eco-friendly methods. One of these posts, featuring a cocktail from Young’s, was reposted by both their CEO and Head of Sustainability, a big win for brand credibility in the hospitality space.
Behind the scenes, we set Mixologists Garden up with Hootsuite for scheduling, reporting, and performance tracking. We also provided ongoing community engagement, content editing, and optimisation to keep the account growing and performing consistently.
Within the first three months, Mixologists Garden saw a 230% increase in reach and a 220% increase in impressions. Engagement rate jumped by 55%, and the account began to attract the attention of key industry figures. With a fresh identity, clearer strategy, and better content, the brand is now firmly re-established as a go-to for cocktail garnishes in the hospitality world, with a following that’s growing every day.
