Client Background
Picture this: barefoot on silky sand that stretches into the distance, the shallow turquoise water so clear you can watch fish glide past your ankles, not another soul in sight, just you and the sea. Now imagine it’s the view from your own terrace.
That dream could be a reality for the right buyer, and that’s where we come in. We helped Nobu Beach Club bring that feeling to life online, translating the pull of that view into a digital experience compelling enough to turn a browse into a booking or enquiry.
Barbuda isn’t an easy place to reach, and that’s precisely the point. Nobu Beach Club built a private resort and residential community across nearly 400 acres of that beachfront, pairing the island’s isolation with the pull of Nobu’s hospitality brand.
Their offering sits somewhere between a boutique inn and a real estate investment. Guests can book a stay, sail, swim or spend time on wellness experiences, while prospective buyers can put down roots through Nobu Beach Inn Residences or The Beach Club Villas & Estates.

The Challenge
A resort this exclusive, on an island this hard to reach, needed a site that could do the persuading before anyone ever set foot on Barbuda. When we came on board, Nobu Beach Club had only a holding page.
There was no way to build interest, no way to give prospective buyers and guests real information, and no way to grow a database ahead of launch. Barbuda and the Nobu name both carry weight; we wanted the site to live up to it from the moment someone landed on their site.

Our Approach
The goal was to balance luxury aspiration with conversion, without one undermining the other. With a destination like this, the site couldn’t rely on copy alone to make the case, so we let the imagery and the island itself do the heavy lifting.
Full bleed images and video run through every page, meaning the beachfront, the villas and the island tell most of the story on their own, with the smooth UX/UI design guiding visitors naturally from that first landing page through to the enquiry form.
Our approach was delivered through a headless build, paired with a Hubspot form and hidden, password protected pages. Signing up unlocks further exclusive information behind those pages, a way of building the database as interest grows ahead of launch, while giving the whole experience a sense of exclusivity in keeping with the offering itself.
Since launch, we’ve continued working on the site, optimising it as real user behaviour comes in.
