Alexi’s old site was the tip of an iceberg; the team had a big story to tell but a site that could only tell a small part. We built an online destination that acts as a platform to tell Alexi’s story and make the most of all their content, including the back catalogue.
This was a personal project – Alexi Lubomirski is a brand and a person. So our New York team worked closely with Alexi to get it right.
We made the most of working in the same city. There were lots of visits to their studio, where we learnt from the team and got a feel for how they worked, which illuminated how they wanted their site to feel and function.
This site is anything but just a portfolio – the site tells Alexi’s story. We worked closely with Alexi and his team to create a solid UX journey that gave it justice.
The site captures the many sides of Alexi: a curator, a philanthropist, a writer and a creator, and of course, a photographer. We crosslinked every page to guide visitors, allowing them to experience Alexi’s content in its full-screen glory.
